This policy describes how the current version of Money Leak works. It is intentionally limited to what this version actually does.
The subscription checker
The subscription checker does not require a bank connection and does not access any financial account. The subscription details you enter (service name, cost, currency and billing frequency) are processed in your browser for the purpose of calculating your monthly and annual totals. This data is not intentionally stored in a user account and is cleared when you reset the checker or leave the page.
No user accounts
There is currently no registration, login or user account on Money Leak. We do not build a profile of you from the checker.
Hosting, cookies and analytics
Money Leak is delivered by hosting and application infrastructure that may process technical information such as IP address, browser type and request logs, and may set technical cookies or collect aggregated analytics. We do not claim that no data whatsoever is collected, because parts of that processing are performed by the underlying infrastructure rather than by Money Leak itself. If additional analytics tooling is added, this page will be updated.
Please do not enter sensitive information
Never enter passwords, bank credentials, card numbers, or other sensitive authentication information into the subscription checker. It is designed only for approximate subscription names and costs.
